Saudi dollar bond supply worth watching
Saudi Arabia has already raised $11.5 billion in dollar bonds and a $13 billion syndicated loan in the first days of 2026, roughly $25 billion or more than 40% of its expected $58 billion financing needs for the year, showing that it is front-loading issuance to plug its budget deficit. The key thing to watch is whether the kingdom continues tapping international markets rapidly or slows down and increasingly turns to private markets to diversify funding sources.
